Remembering Luis Caballero

When I attended the funeral for my dear friend Luis Caballero one of the things that struck me was the closeness everyone felt toward Luis. Everyone who got up and spoke said Luis was their best friend, and had had a deep influence on them. And yet, most of these people did not know each other, and some had never met.

In the days and weeks following Luis's untimely death it occurred that there were probably plenty of people who knew Luis. Most of the people I contacted about the service were old comrades from the comedy world and had lost touch with Luis.

I've decided to launch this blog for people to post remembrances of Luis Caballero, so there will be an online presence (I've already created a listing for him in the Wikipedia) for people to find out about this man, one of the great comedic voices, and for friends and fans to share. I only ask that you keep things positive, so it can be a celebration of Luis's life and work.
